Who we are

We know print isn’t dead, and we’re ready to start acting like it.
For curious readers tired of algorithm-driven content, Columbus’ first pop-up magazine stand is here to connect neighbors with new media and ideas.

Just like an old-school newsstand, Print Isn’t Dead is your destination to browse for inspiration and meet like-minded readers in your city. Every month, we curate dozens of national, niche, and vintage magazines, with titles for every age and interest.

We believe in democratized access to news and information, which is why each magazine is priced about 45% lower than big-box stores. (Yes, that’s side-eye to Barnes & Noble.)

Meet the Founder: I started collecting magazines as a teenager (shoutout Dance Spirit and New York) because I wanted to keep the materials that inspired me to think and act differently. I pursued my passion for magazines through a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University, where I met my husband and fellow magazine lovers. Since then, I’ve worked as an editor at Time Inc. and Baltimore magazine, and my writing has appeared in Ohio Today, Baltimore Weddings, and Hindsight: Untold Stories From 2020. Let’s go analog together!
